US Roaming Question Hi guys I am currently using Nexus 4 with Bell. I am planning to visit my friends in LA for 9 days. What is the best way to deal with the US Roaming charges ? Please kindly advise when you have time. Many thanks in advance. |
Don't deal with roaming charges. Just get a T-mobile number. 10 dollars for the sim then 3 dollars a day for unlimited nationationwide(US) Data, calling, and texting. |
May I know how can I that $ 10 sim card from T-mobile ?? Quote:

You can also get a Roam mobility Sim card from London Drugs. Similar cheap roaming rates. Posted via RS Mobile |

T-Mobile > Roam, in my opinion, when we (50+ rs people) went down to Seattle for a party a couple months ago. The people who were using Roam mobility had no signal/crappy service while they were at the party, the ones using T-mobile had no problems what so ever. |
keep in mind that your phone will have to be unlocked or at least you will need an unlocked cell |

Does analog work? |
Tmobile did not work inside WaMu for me, For that very specific case I can't recommend either. Prolly just NSA h4x0r1ng my fone tho. Damn Illuminati. |
Just use WaMu's free wifi srs |
Roam Mobility sucked. Tmobile is better or use simple mobile. Simple mobile is $12.99 for the sim, $40 for a whole month of unlimited USA calls, international texts and data (works with BIS too). |
My last trip to US with Roam. Had little issue with data, but for the most part quite good. I think Roam is a good choice for travel less that 15 days in the US. After 15 days you might be able to find better service with other providers. |
