Cars On Ice ICE-X https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-_.../IceX+2013.jpg IceX is back for its second year, and this time we have our own dedicated track and TWO WEEKENDS! Put your driving skills to the test on technical track plowed out on a frozen lake. Challenge your friends to beat your time. Event Weekend #1 - Feb 1/2 Event Weekend #2 - Feb 15/16 -What is IceX? Think solo II on a frozen lake. When your front tires cross the start line the timer begins to count. The faster you make it around the track and to the finish the better your time. Fastest time wins. Seems simple enough? Oh ya…. Remember that “frozen lake” bit? Unlike normal AutoX the fastest way around this track is sideways. So tune up those drifting skills, you are gonna need them. If you can run your car at the AutoX you can run it at the Ice-X. All you need is a Snell SA2000 helmet (loaners available) and snow tires! Awesome! We'll see you up there! Few more spots have opened up for the this weekends race and lots of space for event #2. The lake is a great place to test your skills with ever kind of car you have. We have everything from a 1969 SAAB to a Porsche 911 registered this year. Tuned and low slung Auto-X cars to cage AWD rally beasts. |

With events 1 and 2 completed we have added a 3rd Ice-X to the calender. Ive-X 3 has a low 20 driver cap meaning more seat time per driver. $60 per driver until Monday, entry post Monday - $70. Our first official season has come and gone. We reached our driver cap every weekend and managed an awesome 8-9 runs each day (with up to a 3.5min track) Thank you to all who made it out to support us. Next year should be even better so check out Cars on Ice | Ashcroft Ice Racing Series and like our facebook page to keep updated on future events.
