No doubt there will be many applications for them, but you should try if you are interested nonetheless :)

Are these some of the dogs that were formerly being killed as they were no longer "useful" as work dogs?

Did you bother to read the article?

These dogs are from the Whistler Animals Galore Society which took in some of the dogs from Whistler Sled Dog Company who took responsibility for the Outdoor Adventure Kennel company that was involved in the slaughter.

wth, just last week news1130 said all the dogs have been adopted...

I saw that too....my guess is that they were adopted from the animal society.......into new shelters :rolleyes:
