I pointed it out because the owner stated it was nobody's fault and that it was the cars fault, which is completely false. If you push a system well beyond its known limit then you can't blame the system when it fails. It's like taking a dog for a walk using dental floss for a leash and then blaming the dental floss when it breaks and your dog runs away.

That's not really the best analogy, but if they wore a baseball hat instead of a helmet and then said their injuries were nobody's fault but their hat, when they knew damn well that a hat wasn't going to cut it, then yes I will tell them it's their fault for being stupid because 1) they are stupid, 2) they clearly haven't learned anything from their previous stupidity. People not learning from their stupidity is worse than the stupidity itself.

Do you not have the abarth anymore? I always remembered your vanity plate

BBMme 06-14-2014 01:28 PM

No, my gf hated it so I got rid of it. Ya I'm whipped haha. After driving the 500, I'm tempted to buy another abarth.

Couldn't pass this one up as i always wanted one. Got a full PPI inspection done at Nixon and the car literally scored excellent on every criteria except for the serpentine belt thats a little worn out, cheap fix. Also a full body inspection which scored excellent as well. im very happy with this purchase!

Going in for subframe reinforcement when i come back from Korea next month

Sure it's my fault if you'd like to put it that way, I'm not too bummed either way as I was going to build the engine after the summer, it's just gunna have more boost hammered through it now because its being built.

Either way its a faultless mistake as I see it, there are many STI's running 350+ WHP on stock internals, mine just happened to die a lot sooner, and on a dyno.

I'll miss this cockpit for a bit

Anyways, here's the other qhip, this one's getting some head work and ultra high comp pistons while I'm down here in LA.

Shipped my seats down here so I can put them in the s2k while I wait for the STI.

Tomorrow, I'm putting on TE37's and TC105N's with 235/40/17 NT05's, and raising the car a million inches.

First off, thanks to RecklessNS for the pictures again!

Second, first closed course experience today, and what an experience it was. My car handled a lot better than I thought it was going to. First run my tires were super cold and wouldn't turn in at all, but after a few runs they heated up and I was having troubles keeping up with my tires. :lol I want to get another autox day in on my Star Specs but Tech said they were borderline today. Might have to suck it up and mount my PSS.

Aaaand third, I have a bitchmade stockpile of parts at home. Kind of mismatched right now and I'm waiting on a few things so I can put everything on. FUck I should make a progress thread lol

caR looks awesome BTW

Side and front chin thingies are just cheap EZLip.

This is my first rear diffuser! Top 1 motorsports. You can see it better in this picture.

Ah I see. I couldn't make out the side pieces of the rear diffuser in the first pic I saw, just the fins. The EZlip looks great for what it is. Love seeing new things on ITR's.
