How to clean windshield
 

And I don't mean microfiber towel pussy stroking with some windex....

I'm talking about that 11 year old residue and grime that's been accumulating all these years.... those spray can glass cleaners were the worst idea I ever had btw, it works for a day or two, and after that it just leaves this hazy foggy film, and that's what I'm stuck with now whenever I use my wipers in the rain at night, with every swipe they reveal the nasty drip marks and residue thats been there for years...
nothing wrong with my wipers btw, they're brand new Bosch Icons.... just that gunk...

what abrasive pad do I use ? and what chemicals do I clean it with ?

^ I did something like that, although not as obsessive as this guy with his 5 different types of towels.... anyway that's what sort of contributed to my problem, the fckin window cleaners, the polish, etc.... it just left the windshield worse then before with all that polish residue and other shit I used on it

I'm at that point where I just literally want to strip the windshield naked of absolutely everything and leave it bare, I mean it's not paint so not like it's going to get damaged if I do that... use some kind of harsh chemical to do it maybe, just dont know what

detailed for years and this what we would do

steel wool and cut polish, gets rid of all the water spots and you can bring out the buffing machine and polish the window after if you still arnt satisfied, if not some elbow grease ;)

0000 steel wool with soapy water should get rid of any residue. You can use the steel wool with Autoglym Car Glass Polish as well.

shit I gotta thank MB then, lol, thought he was yankin me chain when he said steel wool, as I pictured that rough dishwashing steel wool thingie that would scratch the shit outta the glass....
gotta step my car care game up, blow money for a paint job, then spend months at a time not washing the car....

0000 steel wool is available at Canadian Tire in the paint section. It's quite reasonable. I think its around $5 for a bag. Might as well get the AG Car Glass Polish while you're there. :)
