Rolling Car Shots (On a Budget) I love rolling car shots but like many people I can't really afford to hire anything awesome like a Russian Arm chase car, an Octocopter, or a fancy car rig... So here's my super low budget solution :) Tools: Suction Cup/ Safety Line/ Camera/ Bravery You will also need a smooth road, a bit of luck, and two 'precision drivers' aka. willing homies to pull this shot off. I'm super interested in what kind of car rigs you guys have built to so feel free to share in this thread! |
rolling shots are awesome. I'm pretty cheap when it comes to rig shots, I got paid in a few rolls of sushi in exchange for several rigs shots. #cheaplabour Some of my rig photos: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7451/1...a8d67f1133.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7129/7...f2341ca025.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8287/7...f81e131ca7.jpg |
^ i am willing to pay you in sushi for the same! |
^ maybe he meant sushi in Tojo |
Sweet shots! :) How did you rig it, did you use pipes and suction cups? Would love to see some BTS shots of you have any of that setup! I hope you got some high end sushi lol ;p ! Quote:

Yea, it's just a pipe with suction cups. I'm always down for rig shots for those who want it, it takes a long time to do the shoot plus editing. i'd like to generate some income from my photography but its hard. Not a lot of people can justify spending X amount on some images, especially when they probably have a friend of a friend who will do it straight up free, heh. I have to work on my marketing skills lol The sushi was delicious! |
