Got impatient so I head off to HD got some wood cut and built a test box. Will need 4 in total.

Sorry I missed this.
Typical rectangular enclosure from a shop would run anywhere from $250-400. Mine would be around the $300 range parts and labour.

BTW, I brace ALL of my enclosures and they are built to last longer than the car.
