FS:1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra ATI supercharged My buddy is selling his toy car. He's old and has too many cars and needs to make room for more projects so he's getting rid of this one. Lots of money invested. Selling for cheap. This is a one owner car I bought brand new off the dealer lot and built it to its current condition. The car has 71k kms on it or approximately 41k miles. I originally built this car to be driven at amateur road race events in the United States but due to life changes I could no longer make that dream become a reality. The car was built and assembled by Brown Bros Ford: Hi-Performance Division in Vancouver, British Columbia. The suspension work was completed by A and A Performance Chassis in Victoria, British Columbia. The car was tuned on a DynoPac dyno by Wayne Johnston of Brown Bros Ford Hi Performance division. The car remained stock from 1998 to 2004 and then all the modifications were done between 2005-2006. The car was modified at 68k kms and is currently sitting at 71k kms so you can see I have not driven it very much since it was assembled. Car has always been stored indoors during the winter and never driven in poor wet conditions. I have a daily driver for that. In its current configuration the car is making approximately 472whp and 390ft lbs of torque from 3100rpm onwards at 8psi. I never had an opportunity to swap the pulley on the supercharger to up the boost to see what type of power the car was really capable of. And now the modification list: Engine: Stock 4.6L DOHC SVT block and crank Mahle forged 9.8:1 compression pistons Scat 4340 H-beam connecting rods ACL race bearings for the mains and rods ARP main studs ARP head studs Sean Hyland Motorsports stage 1 ported cylinder heads Sean Hyland Motorsports blower cams Sean Hyland Motorsports ported long runner intake manifold Accufab 90mm throttle body BBK long tube headers MSD DIS 4 ignition controller MSD ignition wires MSD ignition coils ATI P1SC stage 2 supercharger kit with intercooler Canton racing baffled oil pan Canton racing coolant reservoir Fluidyne 4 core aluminum radiator Transmission/driveline: Tremec T-56 6spd manual transmission ACT HDSS clutch kit '03 cobra aluminum flywheel Aluminum driveshaft Factory differential housing Yukon 31 spline axles and differential bearings Eaton limited slip differential 4.10:1 final drive gear set Fuel system: Aeromotive factory sumped steel gas tank Aeromotive a1000 fuel pump Aeromotive 10 micron inline fuel filter Aeromotive 100 micron inline fuel filter Aeromotive a1000 boost dependent fuel pressure regulator Suspension: Maximum Motorsports "maximum grip" box suspension kit which includes: MM K-member (with 2-point brace) MM Front Control Arms MM Torque-arm MM Panhard Bar MM XL Series Full-length Subframe Connectors MM Coil-over Conversion Kits, Front and Rear Coil-over springs MM Caster/Camber Plates MM HD Rear Lower Control Arms (no spring perch or swaybar mount) Bilstein HD series struts Bilstein HD series shocks MM Adjustable Rear Swaybar MM Aluminum Steering rack Bushings MM Solid Steering Shaft MM Bumpsteer Kit (adjustable outer tie-rod ends) MM Strut Tower Brace MM Front Swaybar Relocation Kit Front Swaybar Bushings Front Swaybar End Links Car also has a 4 point road race cage that retains factory plastics and rear back seat for the stock looking interior effect Brakes and exhaust: Saleen 4 piston front big brake kit Stock rear cobra disc brakes Flow master 2.5" exhaust BBK H-pipe with catalytic converters Wheels/tires: 17" 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R wheels *authentic* BF Goodrich Comp T/A Front 245/45/17 Rear 275/40/17 Accessories: Saleen rear decklid spoiler Autometer 5" tach Autometer boost gauge Autometer oil pressure gauge Autometer oil temp gauge Autometer water temp gauge Autometer fuel level gauge All Autometer gauges are the phantom series gauges. As you can see there was a lot of time and money spent building this car. Built by a mature owner. Car was never ragged on or beaten up on the roads but it was driven to be enjoyed. The car is fast, sounds goods and when you are in it, it's hard to wipe the grin off your face. Thanks for looking.
