Anyone know where I can buy a bunch of disposable paper funnels?

Plastic ones are good and everything, but they always get dirty and I am always afraid of getting dirt in my engine, or into any other fluids. Kinda hard to clean the tip too, get paranoid of dirt still being there.

Have you ever cleaned, um, like a cup, or a water bottle, or a bowl?

Really? Roll some shop towel into a point and pull it through the funnel. Use some brake-clean before if you want it like-new clean and dry.

If you're in a bind and desperately need a funnel, you can take a piece of paper and roll it up to make a cone and use it as a funnel. This will work for oil, but doesn't work well for water based chemicals.

I always do this for washer fluid so i don't spill. as long as you throw it away after the paper doesn't absorb it quickly enough to fall apart.

am I the only one that ghetto cuts up 2 liter jugs to make funnels when I can't find mine?

:derp:

Raid3n 02-25-2014 02:25 PM

or cut the top off a 1L oil container?

Chevron has paper funnels that they will give out for free. Sometimes their at the counter and sometimes by the oil and fluid shelf.

At this level of paranoia...

Beware, when they bottle the oil there could be dirt in the bottle as well, run the new oil through a coffee filter, but there also might be dirt in the coffee filter.
