Bride GIAS II thoughts Anyone have experience with Bride GIAS II seats or Bride seats in general? Pros, Cons? Long distance drive comfort? Any info will help, i don't mind spending 2k per seat just wanna make sure I'm not barking up the wrong tree. Cheers |
From experience Gias 2 Rep - Bottom cushion a little hard, most comfortable out of all for me though. Took on a couple 4-5 hour drives with no problems. Vios 3 Full Bucket - A bit more padding, was kind of a tight fit on me so that got uncomfortable more than anything. Back was fine though. Brix 2 - Really comfy, only sat in for a few drives cuz it was in passenger side. Still a lot of hold though. Zeta 3 - Pretty tight on me like the Vios, the bottom pad at the back was pretty thin, and kinda hard, so that was a little uncomfortable. But bolster padding and back padding was good. Haven't been in an authentic gias, so I'm not sure how that compares, but the other seats I had have been overall pretty good. |
Sorry to go a bit of topic but how was the quality of the gias rep? I see a pair of new gias reps on CL |
really depends how big your waist is. im size 34 waist and it hurts my pelvis everytime i sit in a bride seat. for 2k i wud suggest buying recaro rs-g or something Posted via RS Mobile |

Yeah I am definitely only interested in official products and I'll be buying only from the companies listed as official distributors on the manufacturers website Posted via RS Mobile |
I went from a brix II to a GIAS brix is more cushiony but the shoulers were too tight and made me slouch I found the gias a perfect snug fit even for long rides, and the shoulder area is much wider |
