If you missed out on the Lenovo A1000, then this might be a good consolation. Reviews are very good. It doesn't have GPS, Bluetooth or SD card slot. However, it is 64GB, and can run almost any app/game you throw at it. This will replace my Playbook.

Lack of 3rd party support is the dealbreaker for me.

Just got my email the other day saying they pretty much ran out of the Lenovo's :( This may have to do.

edit: just checked if you wanna use Best Buy you'll have to drive to Abbotsford. If you wanna use Future Shop you'll have to go to Bridgeport or to the Island:P Just reserved mine in Bridgeport

I had also ordered the lenovo.. but received an email saying it would be cancelled. The weird thing is.. today I checked my credit card online and noticed there's a 'pending authorization' amount from Lenovo for the same amount of the tablet.. so I went to check my order status and now instead of cancelled, it's now showing a ship date of March 24th and a delivery date of March 28th? :suspicious:

easy root using an apk.

enable "unknown sources" installation in security settings.

download and install this:

run it and wait 60 seconds then reboot. NOTE: app has no icon, just the name in your apps page.

you are now rooted. you can check with root checker app in Play store

white available at BB & FS again but $119 this time

back down to $99
