Funny how everyone complains. On the bright side, days are longer, and sun won't go down at 5 pm. I personally hate short days. | The sun wouldn't go down at 5 PM, anyways. It's equinox in less than 2 weeks, meaning 12 hours of daylight.
Without DST, it would be roughly 6 AM - 6 PM sunlight (varying a bit depending on actual location within the time zone) on the equinox. With DST, it's 7 AM - 7 PM.
That said, I don't mind it. It means that when I work an 8-4 shift, I have time to do a full 18 after work through most of the summer even if we get stuck behind a brutally slow group. Without DST, we'd definitely have to cut it down to 9 holes in August and September. |
