Racing Hart C2 had rivets, C2 EVO's had no rivets and C4 had no rivets.

I now have the wheels in my possession and they are back with the car.

Sequence of events.

Bonka posted the ad, I immediately knew they were mine from some exterior things that I could see in the pic.
Upon seeing this I called the RCMP to report this and provide them with the information. I did not expect much action from them on this but the officer who was assigned the case did an awesome job.
She contacted the seller acting as just an interested buyer and asked some questions. She managed to get an address and name out of the seller.
The officer then called me back and asked me if I would be willing to go with her to pick the wheels up so that I could ID them as mine to be 100% sure. I agreed and the called the seller back.
When she spoke with the seller this time she told the seller that she was with the RCMP and that they know who she is (it was a girl who had the wheels) and that the wheels she had in her possession were stolen. The girl claimed she had not known this and was just selling them as she needed to pay some bills.
The seller was asked if I could come and pick up the wheels and she said that I could and said that she felt so bad as she just bought them and didn't know.

I got her home address and went there after work with a buddy and we got the wheels. I talked with the girl for a while and she told me

"I had no idea they were stolen when I bought them off of Craigslist 2 weeks ago...."

I informed her that there was no point in bs'ing me at this point as they were taken between 10:42pm and 12:15am last Saturday.
She did not know what to say and I loaded the wheels into the Supra and left to go pick up a wicked Nerf chain gun!!!

wow saw bonkas post but didnt notice updates to the thread so i thought maybe those werent your wheels and bam i was just blind to the updates

Grats on getting your wheels back Boosted and WAY2GO Bonka!

Any chance of charges against the girl who had them?

It's very hard to do these days honestly. She claims she purchased them off of Craigslist and needed to sell again as she was hard for money. I informed the RCMP and they said there is not much they can do.....sad really.

As for those interested in how to prove wheels are yours in the event they are stolen.

When I purchased the car I had all 4 wheels and center caps engraved with the vehicles VIN as well as my SIN so that they could be tracked back to the car or myself.
If you have expensive wheels it is something worth doing for sure.
