Pioneer AVIC 910bt

so lately my pioneer have freeze up on me 3 times in 3 weeks, its rather odd since it never happened to me before.

I will start the car, and within couple minutes screen just freezes...nth will work

anyone experienced this before? software/hardware issue?

i just purchased 2012 map and Z140BT update

would that solve the problem? or i need to send in for repair/new deck?

It sounds like it has Microsoft problems. Updates can help, but you may need to reformat the hard drive at Nippon.

They're in Richmond near Ikea.

I have an X940bt myself which apparently a lot of X910BT users upgrade to using the hacks found on avic411. I dont know of the exact steps but look into it. Free upgrade essentially.

bought some 2012 map off amazone and updated , now its Z140BT

will see if that solves the freezing problem

However i been having this issue since day one, my navi screen does not dim when its night time even tho i set it on automatic

there is day time, and automatic, suppose to dim by itself when its dark. Screen is way too bright when im driving
