windows 8 - app switching problem that I cant find a solution for. windows 8 and the app switching setting. usually I just hover the mouse in the top left and it'll show my desktop, internet open, along with any other things open. mainly I had it to switch back to the desktop. worked fine n dandy until an hour ago and then it just stopped working. nothing new was installed. only solution I can find for it is on google to: hit windows + W, type in general, and flick the toggle switch to allow app switching, and voila, it now shows my desktop in the top left. once I go to my desktop and close the settings, open up internet etc, my desktop no longer shows on the top left...I can have multiple things open...internet, folders, programs, and none of them show up except for the windows that are on the windows main start page. any clue what im talking about here or a possible way to fix this :s |
Go to Settings > Change PC Settings > PC and Devices > Corners and Edges There's some settings in there that may help. |
I get to the change PC settings page and "PC and devices" isn't even on the list. Even searching the word corners and edges in search shows no result :( Posted via RS Mobile |
it's on there, however, maybe it's a 8.1 thing? Let's make sure we are talking about the same settings menu. We are talking about the settings menu after you move the cursor to either the top or bottom right side of the screen. "PC and devices" is the first tab on the left after getting into "Change PC Settings" "Corner and Edges" is the 6th tab after hitting PC and devices. |
^ wasn't 8.1 Wouldn't let me install it because of my country...found out I had to shut my antivirus off. So for the past hour it's been upgrading to 8.1 Hopefully it'll be back to good by then. But yeah, go to the right, hit change PC settings, but the PC and devices isn't there. Just devices. But, under the general tab it has the toggle app button...but it won't show the desktop which makes toggling a pain cause I'd have to use alt tab Posted via RS Mobile |
