shoulder injury

My rotator cuff (i think) is super tight

It hurts quite a bit to raise it above eye level, both lateral and front raises

after warmup it goes away but I've been avoiding bench pressing or any pressing excersizes for 1 week but hasn't gotten any better

should I go to physio or any recommendations for recovery

thanks

1) See a physio so they can diagnose what's actually wrong
2) Rest, ice, NSAID (e.g. ibuprofen, acetaminophen)
3) For the love of god, don't do any pressing exercises

If it's impingement, then stretching and massage therapy will help.
If it's a partial tear, rest, then mobility exercises
If it's a full tear, surgery.

Does sound like your rotator cuff. Better get it diagnosed asap

Definitely see a physio.

I had a partial tear a couple months ago, same pain symptoms. Best thing to do is rest it and try not to aggravate. Then, once you're feeling better start doing exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff. I used a theraband and did various workouts my physio recommended. My shoulder feels great now

I have the same problem, I sprained my rotator cuff back in December and it still hasn't fully healed yet. It's gotten better after seeing a physiotherapist but still not at 100%
