Kerbal Space Program

On sale for $16.19 on Steam!

I didn't think it'll be this addicting.... but holy shit I'm addicted
anyone else got it?

SkinnyPupp 04-05-2014 06:43 PM

Would love to check it out, was kind of hoping it would go down to $10 or less though because I'm not sure if I'll ever play it

twitchyzero 04-05-2014 06:58 PM

does it have a pretty steep learning curve?
i know nasa just recently put a level for this game...also awaiting the $10 pricepoint

CP.AR 04-05-2014 07:04 PM

The learning curve... I learned it using the 4 tutorials (about 5 mins each), and then mostly thru trial and error. I'm playing the "Career" mode which doesn't overwhelm you with parts in the beginning so I guess that helps as well.

It's a fun game, great timewaster for sure for anyone that's mechanically minded

I can't even land anything on Mun yet. I've got about 4 flights just orbiting

Got an orbital supply station up and running. Finally able to dock stuff together after 2 hours of trying. I can go to bed now

To be honest the learning curve isn't too steep. You just have to mess around and you will get the hang of it. Getting into space and having enough gas left over after was the hard part for me. Pm me and I can share blueprints etc

I used to play the older versions, but I decided to wait until the complete version came out. Definitely addicting, and takes up soo much time haha. I seriously enjoyed putting satellites in different orbits and landing probes/rovers on the moon.
