The hybrid system on this car was to add more performance and HP to this car, not to improve MPG.

la ferrari has a 6.3l v12, P1 has a 3.8l v8, and 918 has a 4.6l v8 do the math bruuuuuh

It's a hybrid only in the sense that those batteries are used to add more power to the engine. The car doesn't have an all electric mode unlike the McLaren or Porsche because it's Italian and doesn't give a shit.
