Which phone have better battery life

Which phone would have better battery life S4 of Nexus5?

S4 have a 2600mAh battery while Nexus 5 is only 2300mAh but a lot of people are saying after the s4 update to 4.4 the battery drain is massive. With the S4 I just drain about 20% in 2 hours with about 30mins text message and 30misn of music.

Not sure about Nexus 5 yet. Still testing but it seems the Nexus 5 is holding a little better once you have all the settings setup and certain options disable.

Depends on your usage/phone settings.

The longer you have your phone screen on = the more the battery drains

The higher the brightness = the more the battery drains

etc

If your battery is draining fast from music usage, use an iPod instead?

My N5 isn't really affected by music playing; I use it instead of my iPod and walk just about everywhere I go. I still get about 16 hours before I plug it in with about 5-6 hours of music, low screen brightness, and LTE always on with most social media on push notifications.

I'm running paranoid andriod with stock kernal, I'm a heavy user (4 hour screen time) and I'll still have about 15 percent at 11pm (stop charging at 545am)

Seems a bit better by having Jude defender on and basically disable a lot of apps from accessing the Interent while screen is off and also have clean master to force close a bunch of apps when screen is off.

It still seems the N5 battery life is a bit better.
It also seems that some programs seem to crash on the S4.

The S4 also has to run a heavily themed and customized interface so it's definitely plausible that the Nexus 5 has better battery life.

I great battery life on my nexus 5. I don't sit on my phone for hours everyday but I usually still have 75% left when I get home

the best battery life phone is one with a removable battery. ;) I will never buy another phone with a sealed battery. 60 sec and full charge VS sitting chained to a charger for a min of 10 min then wondering how much use i can get out of it.

LOL. I was just going to say I get about 36hrs on my z30. And that includes 12 hrs (2 different days) of playing music while I'm at work replying to emails and what not. 2 of those hours are blue tooth streaming to my car stereo during the drive in and back home.

You should add the LG G2 to your list of options if you're looking for good battery life.
