When you start buying Dyson products you know you've made it Posted via RS Mobile |
Or you've overpaid for a heater. Posted via RS Mobile |
Lol a $500 heater that works like ass compared to a $40 heater. #goodmarketingiseverything Posted via RS Mobile |
I thought it was overpriced at first too, but I gave it as a christmas gift and got a kobo out of it so i didn't care After experiencing it though i will say it works much better than "a $40 heater" no burning odour and it heats from a considerable distance, etc. I was quite impressed and would be willing to get myself one but i've no need for a heater But this news kind of puts a downer on it especially being a gift "hey you know that gift i got you well...":/ |

People pay big $$$$ for their stuff... collection/delivery/fixing should be free for sure... |
Go buy a heat dish! Posted via RS Mobile |
 I have one of these. To be fair though I didn't pay anywhere close to $500 for it. I only paid $249. It does heating, cooling and just has a plain fan so its actually a pretty good investment for my perpetually cold or hot office at work. I'll admit though I bought it cause it looks cool, and for something that sits in plain view in my office I want something nice. The other bonus is it is decently quiet although I'm sure other heaters at half the cost are quiet as well. Either way thanks for the heads up OP I didn't know about the recall. |
I'm more curious about the fan since I can't stand that annoying sound normal fans give off. |
Don't have their heater but I do have this badboy http://pagehanify.com/7criteria/wp-c...son-Vacuum.jpg IT'S AMAZING. I was using a traditional upright before and always figured my carpets were clean. Then I started using the Dyson and the canister filled up quickly. Can't believe how deep it goes in the fibers. The only misleading thing is how easy it is to empty the canister. What they don't show is how messy it is. The dust becomes ash and goes airborne quickly. I don't recommend it emptying it inside. I just empty the canister right into a garbage bag outside. |
i have used one of these before in last place our company stationed at, no its not a dyson its cheap rep & it was very nice seriously dyson has nice things, but they are way over priced reps of the fan in china is pretty cheap, it also has different shapes & sizes too 正品 德国进口 超静音无叶风扇 无扇叶电风扇 静音无页台扇带遥控-淘宝网 |

I have the DC23 Turbinehead Animal from a few years ago: http://www.vacuumscanada.ca/wp-conte...urbinehead.jpg And I'm very happy with it. They put a lot of thought into designing it. My only complaint is that the hose could be a bit longer. If you can manage to pick up a Dyson vacuum on sale, then I'd say it's worth it. |
a lot of companies have started to use the multi cyclone cylinder design. even hoover etc. u can find cheaper, perhaps a bit crapper... but at least 2-6x cheaper. and yes, any cyclone design is like WAY stronger than conventional upright. the day i got mine i tested by using my old one and vacuumed my entire carpet. then i would go over with the cyclone one, and i was so surprised how much more shit it picked up. |
