It has come time to sell my current kart!!!!

It is an 09 Birel Chassis with a very fresh Briggs and Stratton LO206 engine (Less than 1 hour since full rebuild). I origionally used the chassis for the two stroke Rotax engine, but when I switched to LO206 found it was very competitive in the local field with a few podium finishes last year. The kart is turn key ready to go with some spares included.

Option 1 (As seen in pictures): $1,700
- Birel Chassis with chassis parts
- LO206 engine
- Two sets of wheels, two sets of dry tires, 1 set of wets. (all used heavily)
- Kart stand

Option 2:
- Birel Chassis
- Birel Chassis with chassis parts
- LO206 engine
- 1 set of wheels with 2 sets of dry tires

Race Weekend!!
Where: Chilliwack BC, Greg Moore Raceway
When: May 1 - 3

The Northwest Gold Cup is a regional series that includes 5 races at 5 different tracks in the Pacific Northwest with cash payouts for winners etc. This weekend the Gold Cup visits Greg Moore Raceway.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be racing but I will be at the track to help out and watch some racing! This would be a great time for anyone interested in getting into karting to check out the track and watch some close racing with bigger fields!

My last LO206 race didn't go to plan:

Luckily the rear axle was only slightly bent and was a quick fix for the guys at BBR karting. I'll be out and racing this weekend hoping to end up at the front!

Just saw your response in my other thread. This one's amazing.

I was wondering if you've tried formula ford cars or anything similar to that range?

As for karting - do you guys have any seasons coming up?

Hey man,

Sorry I didn't see this post until now!!

I haven't been in a formula car yet, but its definitely high up on my bucket list.

As for racing, there is still a fairly active local karting scene over the year but now I'm just starting to prepare for next year.
