Detailed - 1994 Mazda Miata - Brilliant Black Detailed a friend's new purchase - 1994 Mazda Miata in Brilliant Black. This is a single stage paint meaning it does not have clearcoat. Additionally, the paint appears to be original and as a result, has accumulated several blemishes over the past 20 years. The owner was considering repainting the vehicle but I thought I would help him out with a detail and see if it tides him over for now. This was purely a paint detail. Didn't have time to address the interior or engine bay. Received the car friday evening. Doesn't look bad but it was cloudy out :) https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5477/...e36ae456_c.jpgIMG_2439 by K2's World, on Flickr An example of the paint condition after claybar https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5575/...079d36e3_c.jpgIMG_2442 by K2's World, on Flickr First 50/50 https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2928/...3c439fd5_c.jpgIMG_2445 by K2's World, on Flickr Front fender before https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5533/...d7e0eb29_c.jpgIMG_2464 by K2's World, on Flickr Front fender after https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5279/...7d9b3b78_c.jpgIMG_2467 by K2's World, on Flickr Another 50/50 https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2921/...d3ffd29e_c.jpgIMG_2469 by K2's World, on Flickr Front bumper 50/50 https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5199/...5a6e1370_c.jpgIMG_2478 by K2's World, on Flickr Sun came out which helped a lot demonstrating the difference. Have to expect it on a 20-year old car. For it's age, I think it looks great again. Kev |
Nice work, Kev. Is that your EF? |
Derrick's. Living in my garage for now. But I don't mind. She's a pretty old thing. Kev |
Sweet. I thought it might be but I didn't realize he did any mods to it. |
