RSX -S Bose Sub in a S2000

I have been reading up on this mod, you can run a Bose Sub from an RSX in an S2000 with the Stock deck by getting the signal from the speakers.

Has anyone done this locally? Does it sound decent? Seems like a simple upgrade and you keep your trunk space.

Feedback please?

The stock sub in the trunk of a S2000 will result in barely any bass. Esp while top down.

We usually just build a custom box where the tool tray sits. Can fit a decent 10" subwoofer in that area. Would give you WAY more bass than OEM 8" sub.

Thank you CMAN, I had a feeling it would be nothing too great. Got my attention since a lot of the guys on S2ki were doing it.

I used to have an RSX-S. The sub was terrible in that thing.
We've done a million S2000's in all sorts of different ways. Its a decent car to do a sub system in believe it or not.
