I don't think it's any better... just use tapatalk or the official app

I am wondering if we even need to have tapatalk or forum runner if we have an official app. What do you guys think?

I decided that there's no reason to offer tapatalk or forum runner if we have an app. Please use that if you don't want to use the full site on mobile. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Willing to pay for an ad free version of the app, but the app store (Google) only shows the free version. Should I just PM you?

They actually have a way to use their software on your own branded app (this is what the xda forum app is) but that is $100 + $70 per month :ahwow:

darn, i wanted to support revscene but i look like i ended up helping some other organization.

Yeah that's why I decided not to do it after all. I thought we would be stuck having no app but then I got it working, so there's no point in letting someone else get all the support from the members.

If you bought it I'm sure you can refund it. App store is pretty relaxed about that, I have refunded shitty apps before

As for support, people can support just by participating to discussions every day :)

Wait, I'm confused. So tapatalk is no longer supported now? Tapatalk is good for people that browse multiple forums, so now they don't have to open a seperate app just to browse revscene, and all the forums are streamlined together, it also has a pretty good interface for replying etc.

And tapatalk is free as far as i know?

I may reenable tapatalk then, but I am not going to promote it

On the app right now, it's not bad but one thing that's not working is most of the custom emoticons. And skinnypup I've pm'd you with my purchase details of the original app

You need to log in from the forum listing. I'm writing this from tapatalk right now. The app kinda sucks lol

Not sure if this is a browser issue or a site issue, but I am getting on consistent font on revscene on the android chrome browser. Its a small issue but just thought I'd bring it up.

I noticed tapatalk does not have the option to leave my signature whereas other forums give me that option.

Downloaded the free app, it doesn't show images or videos, just the links to them.

Tapatalk does have this option...

Tapatalk signatures are disabled. What Tapatalk does is use forums like this to promote their software and social network. That is not my goal.. My goal is to support it for the people who already have the app. Everyone else should get the RS app or just use the normal browser version.
