Compustar ALARM

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a alarm for my car..

Is this a good deal?

Compustar 3000' 2-Way LCD Pager REMOTE STARTER SYSTEM

evlee 06-01-2014 10:29 PM

looks good to me

Just to make you aware, you posted a remote starter system. Not an alarm.

BPG and Soundsgood are both Compustar dealers with many more years of installation experience. Being the cheapest is not usually the best route.

Cman333 is very correct. Advertising can be very misleading. I had a coupon for a hotel room that I could never use. That cost me $300 to find that out. It seemed like a good deal at the time, but when I found the loophole, I was pissed.

Revscene is sponsored by a couple vendors for car alarms. BPG & us. We believe in Revscene so much, that we invest money into it so that you have a forum to play on. Why not invest in us? We will give you an honest rate for honest work.

If you want to pay $350 for a starter installed, we can do that for you with the same options (or lack of) that this other company will, but we will do it correctly: solder all of our wires, keep things hidden from thieves and be here in 6 years when your unit needs to be swapped out for whatever reason.

We have built our reputation on service, honour & trust. Why would you go anywhere else?

What do you guys do with old, crummy alarms you remove?

We give them to people we don't like.

Kidding!!!!

We throw them into the recycling bin. Why? Do you have a science project that you want to play with?

I need something super basic (so I can quickly toss it in and later remove it) that is very sensitive to vibration and very loud to scare the crap out of my neighbour who keeps hitting my car with basketballs.

If you come to the Coquitlam facility, we will shoot you a special deal. We want you to have something that works properly.

If they would like to approach Revscene about a sponsorhip deal then they can do so. But spamming our pages for free while the rest of us sponsors pay good money to be here? Yeah, uh....no.
