Totally agree with Undergrads and Clone High. Loved those two shows. I also have to second The Glades. Sure, it wasn't the best show out there but it was good enough to keep running for at least one more season. If nothing else, they should have given the producers the go ahead to create at least one more episode. I fucking hate it when shows get cancelled right after a cliffhanger. However, Futurama is the one show that I'm genuinely pissed off about being cancelled. I can't believe shows like The Simpsons is still running, and The Cleveland Show was given four years... yet Futurama, arguably one of the best adult-based cartoon shows with a metric ton of "those feels" moments, is constantly being knocked off the air. |
Southland would be #1 for me... but also Harsh Realm ...only was on for 9 episodes but I loved it http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV...14,317_AL_.jpg |
Does anyone remember the show that had 2 young cops (one black, one white) and they had this 'cop lair' where they basically had tons of badass cars that they got by busting criminals? They'd go after high level crooks, get into tons of fights/shoot outs, and there was always tons of scantily clad women. They also played tons of hit music, the show was from the early/mid 2000's -- it got cancelled after the first season -- I have no idea what the name was but it was awesome edit: Read thread, Quote:
:fullofwin: I've been looking for the name of this show for awhile, time to rewatch |
Didn't realize there were so many Southland and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles fans on here. I'd choose both those and Jericho as well. |
they shouldn't have cancelled almost human was a great show... |
I really like the concept of Heroes. they hit the nail on the head with season 1 and 2. I wish the writing was consistent for the subsequent seasons and it wouldn't have turned out how back it became. But in reality it wasn't sooooo bad, as I've seen other shows get. It just needed to get back on track. I would watch it again if they decided to re-do or continue on with the series. Edit: Just read Alby's post... will watch Heroes: Reborn... actually quite excited for it after the teaser lol. even though it showed absolutely nothing, but the fact that they are taking their time and airing in 2015 means it should be well written.. lets hope. |
The most recent shows that got canceled for me were SouthLAnd and Almost Human. Surprised that nobody mentioned this one http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_DOizYHWD6q...ome_poster.jpg |

LIFE AS WE KNOW IT I'd be pretty impressed if anybody's even heard of this show! Cancelled after just one season http://frecklednest.typepad.com/.a/6...dbec970d-600wi |

I remember reading it was cancelled because it cost too much to make. I think it was like...$1m+ per episode. Like...it had a Game of Thrones budget for a show that's not even on a major network. |
Big shots, and that show about the guy who thought he was dreaming and I think his son died.... Lol fuck it was out a year or 2 ago |
http://d22r54gnmuhwmk.cloudfront.net...x313-noPad.jpg I like gritty police dramas, too bad it only lasted one season. |
|
crazy ones i watch a few eps & it was pretty funny, my dad loved the show as well as its set in chicago & robbin williams was hilarious too bad its just one season & yes i know it got mix reviews |
Cancelled because Universal wanted to make numerous idiotic changes Discovered the awesomeness of Johnny Cash because of this show. Just wish this show could have figured out what it wanted to be sooner. It had everything I was interested in at the time: Trekkish style, science, deep sea exploration, and a personal hero of the time in Harold Ballard dropping knowledge on viewers at the end of each episode (at least in the first season) Going really obscure with this one. |
I read the first book for Earth 2, it sounded promising but a bit odd. I'm not sure how far into the TV show the book went though. |
