The best football thing I watched today was my son playing a football tournament and get his first and second sacks of the year (first year in tackle).

For the casual fan who doesn't listen to 1040 or read more into league issues the league could be in serious trouble in the coming years and the quality of the product is not helping at all. The Argo's have to be out of Rogers center in 2 years and currently there is no plan whatsoever for relocating. BMO field is not equipped for football and needs fairly extensive renovations to accomadate it and MLSE does not have any sort of stake in the Argos so why should they care to help them out?

David Braley (sp) basically has a depreciating asset on his hands which needs even more money sunk into it to be viable and no new owner is going to get close to that sinking ship.

As well, players are coming out anonymously and saying stuff like "sometimes I have to remind myself this is a professional league" and "playing here feels like a joke"

Personally i wouldn't be heart broken if the CFL folded, I think it's a completely inferior product to the NFL and it's production values and in game product are terrible. I watch probably more than most who say they like the CFL, but at the rate it's going it's pretty scary for the people who legitamitely care for the league id say

I haven't watched a game in a long time, started watching from the 3rd quarter. It was tough to watch, the Lions couldn't get anything going (with the exception of the Manny Arceneaux TD pass). Without Harris the running game was non-existent. The receivers couldn't catch anything and the Ticats moved the ball quite well against the vaunted Lions D. The reffing was bad but the Lions were solely to blame for the lost.

Nice win last night. A little one sided, but a win nonetheless.

What a shitty game. Lions must lose this game to avoid meeting the Eskimos in the playoffs. Lions are getting ass raped big time tonight. Very painful to watch.
