Anyone watch the pilot?

Its based off the book and Damon (from Lost) is producer/writer? I'm prepared for unanswered questions.

The pilot episode was really confusing, but I guess that is exactly how they capture the viewer for next episode. I've never read the book before.

I enjoyed the first episode. Looks like the standard 10 episodes so I will watch till the end of summer.
