I actually really like the Iroc's as well. They will be a collectable one day.

That BMW 507 is new to me. Gogeous. All the best have been posted already.

Actually, the other one above looks like it's the Eagle rather than a real E-Type.

^ I can tell you right now. In 40 years, that picture would never show up in a "Beautiful convertibles thread".

Haha. Oh how tastes change.

Hands down my favourite convertible, drop dead gorgeous with the top up or down. One day I'd love to own one.

And an honourable mention, not sure why but I've always had a huge soft spot for first generation A5 cabriolets, particularly the base 3.2L V6 models.

I just love how grand and elegant they look, especially with multi-spoke wheels like the ones below.

Surprised it took that long for S2000 to appear. Some of the cars were seriously questionable

lol we need a thread dedicated to cars built before 1980s. Instead of taking the chance to learn about new (well, older) cars/models people seem to expect to see the same cars over and over. (*cough*s2000) come on, be creative...

The 1989-2002 R129 SL... Particularly the rare AMG versions

I don't have any bias The 89-96 AMG cars looked completely evil once they got lowered a little if they had the full AMG bodykit, ducktail and 3 piece wheels. Ill own one of these damn cars again one day..

One of my favourites of all time: Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet. (Eurospec preferred, better rear bumper and no sidemarkers)

And the even more rare 944 Turbo Cab.

i'm not sure how others feel about this, but i personally do not like convertibles where the top just kinda sits there at the back like with that 944cab. sure that ones got a nice cover on it, but it just looks off to me. feels like such an eye sore on an other wise sexy car.
