It went:
ALSID-1/ALSID-2/BLRA-3
S50/S54/S57
C10
C110
C210
R30
R31
R32
R33
R34
V35/CV35
V36/CV36/J50
HV37/HNV37

GTR was just a trim level, and now they have a car named after that trim level. They called it the "R35" and "GTR" to bank off of the history of the name the same way the GT86 does.

As you can see from chassis code, R35 is successor of R34.

Toyota 86, or so called ZN6 is not a Corolla nor Sprinter.

TE27
TE37/TE51/TE55
TE71
AE85/AE86
AE91/AE92
AE100/AE101
AE110/AE111

so basically it went up to AE111 and it ended there.

By street-legal, I mean that they're way too low to the ground to pass regulations.

I know that there's marketing advantages in posting concept vehicles like this but honestly, I feel cheated most of the times since the real vehicle looks no where near the concept car. The only car recently that I can think of is the BMW i8, which looks as close to the concept car when it was revealed.

The concept R36 clearly can't clear a speedbump (compared to previous GTR's), nor can most of the other concept cars posted. :fulloffuck:

I only respect two brands which are Acura and Lexus since the nsx and the LFA looks quite futuristic

No, the V35/CV35 followed the R34. The R35 didn't come out until the V36 was already out, and they only picked it to bank off the history of the R3x Skylines.

I don't know about that...nobody ever put V35 after R34. :suspicious:
Clearly, R35 is the successor of R34. Nobody ever put V35 after R34.
Not even Nissan corporation themselves.

Here's an official GT-R website by Nissan, and they're showing GT-R's previous models.
GT-R????|????NISSAN GT-R

Not only Nissan, but even average joes and other fans would never put V35 after R35.

For fuck sakes, Nissan corporate built the V35 Skyline after the R34 Skyline. There is no GTR trim level for the V35, which might be why you're confused. The Nissan GTR is a new car named after the top trim level of prior Nissans, that is all.
