I see so many people with this sticker on their cap, but aren't they supposed to take it off just like a price tag on new T-shirt?
I am just wondering why because people just keep the sticker on there as if it add value or something.
Because they want the world to know that they're a 7 & a half

Other parts of the world have high numbers of counterfeit Fitteds. The sticker shows your hat is authentic NE.
Realistically all the counterfeits now have stickers so people just leave the stickers on for show now. You can also buy entire rolls of the stickers for like 30 bucks on ebay.
I'll admit I am a bit of a hat aficionado, I have some 100+ hats. I don't wear a hat often anymore but I still love the collection I have on display. I leave the sticker on some of my hats, and I take it off others. Just depends on the hat and how I feel.
There are however some hats that are rare and I would never pull the sticker off of them. Much like limited run jordans, there are NE hats that have extremely limited runs, or customs. While these hats might not go up in value like a set of J's or Yeezy's they are still collectible.
I don't even bother washing my underwater since I don't want to risk damaging the fabric and someone might call Mr out one day for rocking a Chinese knock off. Jokes aside I guess for people who value these items find this important (like sneaker pimps)

Never really understood this, the day my son leaves the sticker on his hat is the day I slap him in the back of the head before removing and disposing of said tag. When he starts paying for his own shit he can leave the sticker on, hell he can even add stickers.

I watched somthing to do with that 1% VS 99% thing and they had a little blurb on it
Basically they said now the wealthy where as before wanted nothing more than to flaunt wealth and show off price tags have become as low key as possible and it's the more "real recognize" while poor people spend $65 on a hat and keep the sticker on to flaunt the price of somthing you wear, I dunno they kinda had a better take on it
Personally wouldn't be caught dead walking around with stickers all over my shit

It was a trend from 14 years ago (damb I'm old). Leaving the stickers on and tags for hats and jerseys. It signifies that the apparel you're wearing is that new and "fresh to death". It's just fashion and how everything changes. For hats back in the 90's, the brim of caps had a curvature, now, folks like the brim nice and straight
Although I do not wear hats, the new era gold sticker still looks good on hats.
"bend that brim boy, you're lookin like everyones favorite pop star."
one of my money lines for straight brim hat people. yuck. i've worn fitted caps for years now, always been new era or jordan and every single one had the brim curved. just the way its supposed to be done.
Wow I didn't know 1 little gold sticker on the brim of someones hat could bother people so much.
Nobody still rocks the tags on their hats or shoes, the sticker thing is still around because the sticker isn't bad looking. It might fade one day, it already has to a degree, as most people seem to pull them off.
I compare the sticker more to something like the badges on the back of your car. Some people prefer it shaven and clean, others like some symbols/stickers.
