HID need to replace bulb, ballast or both?

Hey my cars right side hid burned out and im just wondering what I need to buy to get it running again. When i turn on my headlights it'll work sometimes but then most of the times it'll just flicker and turn off. Im thinking its the ballast but i just want to make sure before i buy anything.

And anyone have suggestions where i can buy the hid parts locally that wont rip me off? Thanks

you should first try switching the bulb with the ballast on the other side of the car, if your bulb turns on and doesn't flicker, chances are your ballast has gone bad so you need to replace those. There are several venders on Revscene that can give you HID kits from $50 and up. I usually get my HID from super garage in aberdeen mall. Last kit i got from them was roughly $75

if you switch the ballast from the other side it will rule out if its the ballast or the bulb
