Craigslist *interesting* finds

One of my best friends has decided to get into bikes so I have been spending a lot of time looking on Craigslist. He is going to be wise and buy gear throughout the winter, take the a class in the spring and then buy a bike but it hasn't stopped us from looking on Craigslist.

Like the main thread in the car forum ... we could probably have some fun posting interesting finds here.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 SE

It's a really difficult for dealers to sell ... even in "SE" trim... it actually looks worse in person. In fact, International in Langley has the exact same, brand-new bike at $9,999.99!

MV Agusta Brutale Dragster 800

I like the bike - but regardless of rarity, even if I had the money I don't think I'd pay that much unless it was brand new through a dealer...

The Brutale is nice to look at like a piece of art.

To see someone ride it, it looks out of proportion. To the point of ugly.

I still think of the KTM RC8 1190 as a "new" model... always forget how long it has been around for.

2007 Ducati 1098 MINT

Not sure if this is original paint ... but maybe not a terrible price for a Ducati fan, especially since a massive service was just completed.

I'm actually sure I saw that bike on the road today ... if it was it it's in great condition.

It always pains me to find cult bikes on Craigslist. They pop up from time to time but seem to only get rarer. I wish I could buy them but I'm in no position to be collecting bikes right now....

About five years ago there were a few Honda CB-1's for sale for relatively good prices and in good condition. Now I can only find one, but it still seems to be a decent deal.
FS: 1990 Honda CB-1 400cc motorcycle - Blue
400cc inline-four, would even make a great commuter bike in town! This one is even in the signature blue colour.

The Honda CB900C was a odd bike. A mash up of parts from other bikes and a quirky, unique transmission, there isn't anything quite like it. This one looks to be in fairly good shape.

2004 Triumph Bonneville Black / Cafe Racer

A low KMs 2004 Triumph Bonneville in the right colour. Before they did that stupid fake-carb throttle body.

I'd be rather tempted if there weren't 5 bikes in my garage already.........
