Seems like a really good price for a nice bike. Too bad litre bikes don't make good starters.. RC51 |

Honda's clearout is $1,000 off CB300FA and $1,300 off CBR300R and CBR300RA. Holeshot is charging $695 on freight/PDI alone. Heck, they harsh mark up everything up there. Go to Honda Centre, they charge less than $500 for freight, PDI, and doc if they have anything left in stock. Even Carter Honda is more reasonable than Holeshot. |
Honda Centre will void PDI fees and such if you're ready to buy OTD. If you're financing a bike less deals.. |
I hear of people getting amazing cash OTD deals at Honda Centre. |
I've seen a particular place charge PDI+ Doc on used bikes... Pretty sure atleast the PDI is only applicable to new vehicles. |

With ABS, I think 4600, or something. Great deal, but wondering if a new bike for a new rider, is a wise decision. Thinking I should go with a cheap 250, abuse it, etc, learn then maybe move on to something higher next season. But damn is a nice bike sexy. |
I got my bike new last year when I first learned to ride. What's would not be wise about it? Don't underestimate a 250cc bike. Contrary to what a lot of people say, I can get into a lot of trouble with my 300cc bike. |

Yep, a 300 can get into excessive speeding territory on a 100 limit highway with a full on tuck. But the 300 is really ideal if you want a daily commuter, light enough to handle everyday, light enough to sling into corners, but fast enough to do an occasional trip on the highway. Quote:

Not wise in, I might drop it, crappy shifting, and sell it under 2 years? I agree, the 250/300cc is plenty for a beginner. And Dkaz, only 3 red non-abs models left. No clue on how many abs models though. |
Wow, they have that many left? So damn tempting. So not ready to buy yet though... |
