Any recommended products or solutions to water stain marks on headliner?

Hello fellow RSers,

Over the last winter, my third brake light started leaking water into the cabin whenever it rained and eventually leaving nasty water stain marks on my headliner. So I come to you guys to see if anyone has ever ran into the same problem and what products OR solutions you guys tried to get rid of water stain marks?

TIA
Cheers

Folex, test on a hidden spot first.

a mix of water and your choice of degreaser 1/3 degreaser the rest water. spray it on the spot use a tooth brush and scrub it. if you have a compressor take a blow nozzle and blow across it (don't blow straight as when your headliner is wet the glue can become seperated by compressed air, also it makes ugly lines in your headliner) then let it dry. If its all over your headliner and you want to drive it shortly after if you have ac put it on high heat (ac dries the air acts as a dehumidifier) and boom thats it

I use my steam machine to deal with stuff like that. No chemicals and its easy on the fabric, but a degreaser with some care can help rid the are of the stain however, what I usually find with cars that are not new that when you clean one spot like that you may end up with a clean patch and the rest looks dirty after :P
