A place to live is a nessesaty. Indians have been buying houses in groups forever. Buying a super car is not.

How about share your gf, I will take 1/7 of the ownership, so I can bang her one whole day every week. It is easy to ask a couple more guys to share the ownership too.

I dated an escort a couple years back. Not quite as glamorous as you'd think it is... :lol

Spoiler!

Holy crap. Second post by Timpo in as many weeks that I've thanked and agree with. :lol

I can almost justify buying a house with someone I'm not in a relationship with. Almost. After all, shelter is a basic necessity and if your roommates are financially responsible and hold well paying jobs, theoretically the problems can be kept to a minimum. Also, a house is something that everyone gets to use at the same time. However, buying an expensive supercar together is just begging for trouble. You can't crash a house while showing off to friends. Also, who gets to be the single name on the insurance paper who then becomes responsible should someone else driving it crashes? Who takes responsibility should the car get stolen or damaged? What if two people want to take the car out for a spin at the same time? Etc., etc.

Absolutely terrible financial decision making here.

People seem to group together on a boat purchase. It will always go south.

Not if you're mature enough to work it.

I know a few people who own a 100k boat in a 4-some, they each pay $20 an hour into a pool every time they take it out to pay for upkeep and maintenance and they bought a brand new motor right off the bat. Have had this setup for 4+ years with seemingly no issues
