Which tire shops will not damage rims on tire install?

is volco good? i dont want my rims damaged..

should i take pics of my wheels before i get the tires done? and if i do how do i confirm the date of the photo?

does volco use a touch less tire machine??

why are you so afraid lol?

You can take pictures to re-insure your rims' condition , usually all phones have dates on the pictures.

my gf had a terrible experience with volco as goes for customer service but not experience with tire installation

asides that ive always had friends mount and balance my wheel setups and with a good machine its pretty hard to fck up

Never had any issues with wheel damage at TSS

Big O tires @ 3059 Kingsway

Recommended by another RS-er, had them mount + balance low profile tires on 20x10 powdercoated rims with not a single hiccup or scratch. They use a corghi machine same as most high end shops

Costco? I've never damaged a wheel here

Just got my wheels done at Volco on Bridgeport. Not a single scratch on the lip of the rim, and pretty good customer service. I think it's their newest location, so you know they are using new equipment. Just be sure to inspect them AT the shop.

Just go to The Speed Syndicate
You don't have to worry about a damn thing with their tire mounting machine and workmanship.

gretzky 09-11-2014 10:12 PM

going to get it done at speed syndicate, do i have to purchase the tires from them or can i just bring my own??

I've heard The Speed Syndicate is pretty good, I think there are a few post above that mention it. Maybe you should go there talk to them I'm sure they'll set you right

Just bring your own tires, over the years, I've probably had 6 sets of tires mounted at TSS and never had any issues.

If your wheels are stock, then Costco or Crappy Tire will be fine.

I had The Speed Syndicate mount and balance a set of tires a while back. Absolutely no complaints.
