forza horizon 2
 

sooooo anyone playing this? kind of weird that it hasnt popped up on this forum yet considering that it is an automotive forum...

I think that may be because Horizons is a more of an arcade racer type of game where as most that play racing games go for Forza 5 due to the car dynamic.

I will probably get it, but not till around Christmas.

Yeah I'm surprised too. I'll be getting it. From watching twitch and reading a few reviews the cars turn surprisingly 'sim' for an arcade racer which sounds awesome.

Its out already? I skipped out on the first one.

im just wondering if its worth buying for an xbox 360..

Lots of people pissed at Turn 10 for releasing the 360 version as it is. People saying that some cars are xbox one exclusive and 360 version is missing a bunch of features that the xbox one has. Personally i wont be getting it just because of the way they put a bunch of cars in and then leave a bunch of the cars for DLC.

actually i made a thread about it in the summer when i try it out at the hk anime expo along with drive club

i skip the 1st one as well (only played the demo of the 1st one), but game play was pretty decent

this game is kinda stupid in a few ways

few things that really annoyed me was for example, the sti, not only can u swap a v8 motor into it, u can convert it into a RWD, fine... its possible to do that in real life so sure, but a 1M?! seriously? not only can u swap a 6.2L V8 from the M3 into a 1M, u can also swap a 6L V12 into a 1M AND convert it to AWD. like WTF is that even possible in real life?

and then there r the races, each championship has 3 different races in it to win the championship. I joined a "super saloon" champ with my 1M thinking its road racing, but NO, there r courses here and there that r OFF ROAD RACING... the course takes u through golf fields, vine yards, sand pits... all with ur 1M, M3, e63, c63 etc... ya off road racing...

yes i understand this is an arcade type of racing game but come on, offroading with ur 1M? this is more like need for speed underground type of game where almost anything goes

search revscene when you join a car club...

Game is pretty fun I like how the game adjusts to whatever car/however you wanna mod, probably won't hold up like Forza 5 in the long run but I can't put it down at the moment
