Did you guys ever think of hiring security guards with the money instead? Or installing windows or something that won't shatter as easy? Or pay the local pigs to stake out in front of the place.

Is this a consistent break and enter/rob on a monthly basis? I think if we can decipher the trend, maybe that'll help isolate how to catch these guys. For example, if the trend seems to occur on weekends at night, at least you have a time frame to work with such as take away all inventory during weekends and place security deterrent. Possibly cage up and even chain up everything valuable.

The police have better things to do (donuts...)

Security guards won't catch them, just scare them away.

We have shatter-resistant class. stolen truck + glass =

They tend to break in at 6am. We don't usually keep inventory in the show room. We still need to be able to serve our customers by advertising what we have.
Essentially, I want to catch them. If that involves having them break in again to get caught, I can live with that, as long as they get what's coming.

These same thieves have burglarized other car stereo shops as well as supporting businesses in the car stereo realm. It would appear that they work for another car stereo shop because they are stealing things that only car stereo shops need.

If you see a new shop have things that we have lost, please collect your reward from me.

If it's three guys, they might not have a shop but instead doing small cash jobs, maybe check Craigslist and such for anyone advertising their services that isn't a full blown shop.
