Pizza 604 FTW!

A medium pizza for $5.99 gives you tonnes of toppings.

-tastes like good pizza in New York.

All pizza is made to order.

For about 5 years everytime I saw/ate there I had an image of a portly old Christian man who had dedicated his life to serving cheap pizza, dear old Uncle Faith.

Then one day I read a bit closer and realized it was FATIH.

...still eat there, but the image has completely changed lol

I'm fond of uncle Fatih's especially the one on commercial/broadway. used to take a girl to the rio where we watched improv against humanity.

Armind 03-30-2017 03:28 PM

When u hungry, u focus on the pizza not the damn name lol

Manic! 03-30-2017 10:25 PM

Was in Surrey central today around 1 P.M. had not eaten yet so I ordered 2 slices at uncle Fatih's. Slice were pretty good the crust was different way better better then most.
Had some time to kill went for a walk. 20 minutes later saw a 24h Church's chicken. Ordered a spicy 2 piece with fries. not bad. Only if there was a 24 hour chicken place in Nanaimo. :sweetjesus:

If your ever at Broadway and main same block as guys and dolls. Pizza style is like Pizza Hut, medium pizza for 5.99, can feed two people, three slices each or you can go balls to the walls and eat all 6 slices. Ordered pepperoni pizza. Website says they having promo two toppings for free.

No wonder...I went twice and closed as well. Looks like its permenantly closed? out of business?

bcrdukes 04-22-2017 06:21 AM

That used to be Athens Pizza. They had been there for ages and they were a busy pizza shop but finally decided it was time to retire.

I guess the new owners couldn't make it work.

corollagtSr5 04-22-2017 01:54 PM

I went there like last week. Maybe call before heading down there.

i went there last weekend and they were open for business. They said their delivery isnt available yet, but will be soon. Pizza style reminds me of the old Pizza Factory on fraser and kingsway. Pizza size is a bit smaller than other chain pizza places but price justifies it. They' re generous on toppings, although options are limited. Did not really enjoy the crust, would've prefered more crunchy (it wasn't really crunchy like most crusts or soft crust style like pizzahut pan pizza) but more starchy and chewy.

I rate it 7/10 but would come to try again, definitely coming back to try their pasta dishes which they claim are made fresh in store everyday.

minoru_tanaka 05-01-2017 02:43 PM

I think I like the crust. I don't like so much the ones where you are just chomping down to get thru it. The crust I got was crisp on the outside and then soft.

Meatball sub was good, especially for $5. Cheaper but smaller than a Subway meatball sub but it's more meatballs and cheese, no veg.

$14 for a large pizza and a sub, I would say that's the best deal for cheap pizza I have found besides maybe Pizza King and yes they were open at lunch time. I'd go back, even for just the sub

I grew up eating Athens Pizza. Loved their pizza and lasagna. I don't think I ever ate anything close to their flavor. VPD used to take over the whole shop and do meetings there as well. I'm gonna miss their food.
