Hmm, so what do I do if my car is on that list? (Civic)
Do I just go to any Honda dealership and get the airbags fixed?

Phew I'm safe.

Hyundai power! :troll:

Slifer check your vin to see if the recall has affected it and then call your closest dealer. Or call the dealer with your vin and they'll be able to see if yours is one of the ones affected.
Heads up that it could be a quick simple job or it could be in for a day or more, depending what specifically needs to be done.

in the US it's based on customer's request, I dont know about canada but simply giving them your VIN probably won't yield a recall if they haven't issued one yet.

Honda Will Replace Your Defective Takata Airbags Nationwide If You Ask

I got a letter in the mail from Honda last month.

Maybe they're sending them out in waves so the dealerships don't get overloaded. As it was, it was a 3-week waiting period for me. Was in the shop for about an hour and a half (also got my oil changed at the same time).
