Maybe you guys figured it out already, but the "logo" looks like a soccer ball. So maybe its a local soccer team's jacket or something?

I would probably hit up the local pawn shops in the area to see if the ring pops up. Let them know you will give them a finders fee or something if they find it.

Sorry to say but you do realize that there is a 99.99% chance you won't get your property back even if they are caught and convicted... Police investigate criminal charges first and foremost... Unless they were caught with the property on them, you aren't getting it back.. You could take them to civil court, but you really think they have any money?
