computer troubleshoot
hi i was originally using windows 8.1 then i decided to go back to windows 7. i am trying to reformat right now but wheni am trying to reinstalling windows. i get this error message. windows cannot be installed to this disk. this computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu.

the motherboard i am using is a msi gaming mother board. model number z87 g45. thank! any help is appreciated.

I would try moving the SATA cable over to another SATA port on the motherboard. One of the SATA ports is shared with the mSATA port.
