Stolen: 1992 Acura Integra Red
 

Hey Guys

Im hoping someone will see this somewhere. It was stolen in North Burnaby and the thieves went through a locked garage. It was originally in storage and has no plates (1 day insurance sticker still there).

It was missing since Monday. The guys went through great lengths as the battery that was originally in the car was dead, they left that in my parking spot and had a spare with them.

Its lowered with GSR blades, and had Thule roof rack with 2 big mouth bike attachments

wow , how did they get out the of the locked garage? did they break the gate?

Seemed like a two day operation. Monday it was a broken lock, Tuesday the gate couldnt close. Just got note from a neighbor that it was still here yesterday morning and was taken between then and this morning.

yeah the gate had a hinge that was broken.

they mustve manually pulled the chain to get out

You've got eyes in south van/richmond/Broadway area here! By any chance you think the roof rack might be taken off it?

it couldve, but if it is, theres no distinct feature on it to ID it. except the plastic backing on the fairing is still intact.

Damn man, showed up with a spare battery because yours was dead seems interesting.

No offence to any older vehicle owners but I'm surprised thieves still go for older hondas/acuras. Is there Really that much money to be made on parts from these?

They're just easy to steal compared to other cars

I was thinking the same thing. They went through a lot to steal it too and theres nothing really worth mentioning other than its a very reliable vehicle lol

little odds and ends are still money!


the blades, the amber corners, the motor, transmission, axles... etc.

maybe the guy is using the parts for his own car? You never know :S

i just don't know. these thieves went out of their way to source a new battery for it so it leads me to assume that someone targeted this car specifically for what it was and has... there are still plenty of da tegs out there to choose from (i can say this because i have been trying to keep an eye out for it and i saw three red ones in just one day alone) but they only wanted this one :confused:
