Yeah, it's definitely at least partly true... but for me, even with over $32000 of hacked donuts, I'm too cheap to just use them to rush through all the quests. :lol

Like for the winter stuff right now, I am still signing in multiple times a day to tap the elves and complete the quests the proper way.

I don't have enough cash though, with some of those new items costing like $10M.

lol as if you're going to run out somehow! :P I'd be greedy with them too. Rushing jobs its the worst way to spend donuts.

I don't understand how some people have 20k gifts and be finished with the events collectibles and earning donuts. The daily tasks only give a bonus of 100 gifts. Your elves only produce so much gifts every 4 hours and everyone gets the same number of elves. Sure, people may have more unlocked characters, but that's only 2 or 4 gifts every 4 hours. I play daily and only have 10k

visiting towns, killing feds, I dunnow... I just unlocked the terminator santa

yea, but you get THREE presents for visiting one neighbor and your neighbors can only drop so many feds in your town cause it caps out.

i'm still 300 away from terminator santa

You actually get 6 presents for the first 10 neighbours your visit.

I started 1 day late and have about 13300 presents right now. I also don't have the maximum amount of neighbours possible, and only 3 premium characters.

Simple answer... they spent the donuts to get the Winter 2014 prizes.

You know the bottom left icon where it shows the Winter 2014 Part 1 Prizes?

Basically if you pay donuts to get them, you don't actually just get the prizes, but you get the number of gifts required to unlock them.

So if you spend a few hundred donuts to buy all the prizes, you'll instantly have 14000 gifts.

I have some trees and stuff from Winter 2013, and they help generate small amounts of presents

but yea, I play only a few times a day and I have about 8500 presents.

I've been doing about three times a day, and even with some extra trees and stuff, I'm only at about 9000 presents. There's no way I'm going to collect enough presents to get all the prizes.

Time to use some donuts! :fullofwin:

^^^ Yeah and the elf houses from last year. Plus if you complete the tasks within 24 hours you get 100 bonus presents. I almost have the nativity scene now.

Does anyone know why the kwik e mart and sideshow you (the balloon pop) stopped paying out??

since the christmas update I only get itchy and scratchy tickets and the balloon pop in krustyland doesn't work anymore :(

i don't understand your reasoning. there are many games that have an in-game purchase aspect, but that doesn't mean you HAVE to buy something.... i've played this game for a long time and have never spent a dime.

it just seemed like one of those things that you'd have to pay, a lot, to play in a timely fashion or else things will be dragged out for a long time to get anywhere
