Cyanogenmod vs Samsung S3/S4/S5 Touchwiz
 

OK..so I decided to try out CM11 on my S4 and S5 and it definitely was an improvement - removing all that bloatware that comes with touchwiz.
CM11 is running 4.4.4 which moved up my S4 from 4.4.2.

BUT... I lost the following:

1. Samsung camera app with all those extra features
2. SDcard support
3. CM11 or 4.4.4 is limited to 16 apps per folder

Also, Samsung decided to allocate approx. 9.1 gigs of internal memory to keep their bloatware/touchwiz restore info as a partition that cannot be deleted.

so my question is...who else is running CM11 on a Samsung device and are you happy with giving up some of the stock functionality?

IS there a way to remove that hidden / protected Samsung partition so that I can free up 9gigs on the phones internal memory?

What other ROMS are you using on your Samsung device that is just as good as CM11?

root your phone and uninstall all the bloatware with titanium backup if you want to keep stock

or find the apk for the apps you need back?
