LOOKING FOR WITNESS: Car accident on January 6, 2015 on the Lions Gate Bridge

Hi,

I am looking for a witness to a car accident that happened on January 6, 2015 at noon on the Lions Gate Bridge heading Downtown. A Fiat was hit by a dark colored SUV. The SUV fled the scene.

If you witnessed this accident, please call 604-568-9597 and ask to speak to extension 106.

Your help is much appreciated!

There is like 80 cameras all over that bridge, have you tried to get the footage from mainland?

brabussmrt 01-07-2015 12:11 PM

I know there are cameras but I'm not sure if they record...trying to look for a real-life witness.

Help please!

Was it the light blue colored fiat? The driver looked like he was passed out at the wheel. I didn't see the collision happen, I drove past the scene probably moments after it happened.

Would you have happened to notice any dark colored SUVs that looked like they were involved in the accident? How bad was the damage to the car?

Don't you think you should try and contact the company and find out?

Why don't you atleast ask the people who monitor the cameras if someone watching the cameras saw what happened?

Hope your client is okay.

I wonder how much time the client is being billed for this awesome sleuthing of making a few posts on a message board.

I believe most accident/injury lawyers work for free, and just take a cut from the money their client receives from ICBC (A pre-negotiated percentage, or amount)

We've already done what we could and contacted related departments but we don't get immediate responses, that's why we were hoping someone from RS could help!

sorry didn't see it happen or noticed any black SUV driving away that looked damage. however i did see an asian man that looked really upset talking to one of the workers that redirects traffic if something were to happen. they were pulled over in one of the emergency parking spots.

hope you guys catch the hit and runner.

did you notice how damaged the Fiat was?

SoNaRWaVe 01-08-2015 12:46 AM

unfortunately not. i only took a quick glance and only saw the driver, worker and driver side of the fiat. didn't want to hold up traffic.

noticed the counter flow lane had absolutely no cars. thought something might have happened.

where was the fiat damaged? rear ended? side swipe on passenger side? can't say i saw any damage on the driver side unless i totally missed it with my glance.

you! 01-08-2015 02:13 PM
