LEGO BMW e30 Petition
 
Hey guys,

Not sure how many e30 fans our out here but as many of you guys may know LEGO has created two official model car sets: the Mini Cooper and Volkswagen Camper Van (both really sick).

I'm not sure how many of you guys are aware of this but someone submitted a BMW e30 to be officially released by LEGO. If you're interested in seeing this come into existestence I encourage you check out the following link and support this idea. I KNOW I'll be all over this should LEGO release this version.

Oh man.. im getting a Mini Cooper for sure..

strange that Lego official Web site sells them for $120.

Amazon.com Sells them for $137 USD

And Amazon.ca sells them for $199 Plus $26 shipping Yikes

You can use Lego's Digital Designer program to make virtual models. It allows you to experiment with pieces you may not have or may not have enough.

You can also use 3rd party applications to render out your projects to make them look more realistic.

I made this Technic a while ago:

Not my picture, but it is the exact same set.

The engine is actually an 8 cylinder.

Some modifications:
Add in some LED DRLs at the front
Change the grille to a honeycomb grille
Change the wheels to BBS CX-Rs

And, I'm set!
