Shuttered iPad Air glass, now what?

So my son was a bit grumpy last night and threw the iPad in front of him to the floor. The glass shuttered although the whole thing seems to work just fine.

Where do I get it replaced for reasonable price in GVR?

TIA

Crystal mall? I believe several vendors there charge $90 to replace digitizers for the 5th iPad (air). so I think they might just be the cheapest in town.

It will never be as good as getting it replaced by apple. because the part they use is non oem. You will most likely see ugly large digitizer grids at certain angles when looking at the screen and also fails water droplet test. also, the response to touch will never match oem. lol.

chances are its more likely to fail in the future due to bad installs. lol. the process is a messy one, not many people have mastered the technique and lacks specialized tools to complete this repair. watch out for dents around the edges. lol. also don't be too surprised when your newly fixed screen start acting weird lol that's because the install was messy in the first place and now its caught on and you have to pay again to get it fixed

I went to iFix.cc to repair my old iPhone 5. As far as I know, I couldn't tell a difference in the screen quality versus Apple's OEM ones, and the touch quality was just as good.. so I would recommend you check there first.

Just don't get your battery replaced there.. as cheap as it was (20 or 30 dollars, can't remember) I needed them to swap it a few times because my battery app kept showing the batteries as having hundreds of previous cycles.

Repair Menu : iFix.cc Online Store, Cellphone Unlock Repair Parts

Thanks guys...

I will have my wife to check the place out before she heads back to SoCal at the end of the month.

iFix.cc can be sketch, ymmv. Dealt with them on an iPhone 4 that needed a screen replacement. They shorted me some screws and changed my working battery for one of theirs. Which neither are needed to do when changing the glass on the front.
