flat screen tv repair my LG 50" just died. Black screen with sound. tested with flash light seeing ghostly image, it's probably the inverter board according to my research Any reputable place for fix?? Thanks in advance. I have no clue where to go for this. |

how old is the TV? and current price? plasma? LCD? LED? I am in Asia, sent my shitty old Samsung LCD back to the shop to get the motherboard replaced, (same as your TV problem, no image only sound). It costed me $200 and lasted one year before it goes bad again. |
TVs are almost never worth it to fix. |
If it's just a matter of swapping out boards etc boards are pretty cheap on eBay and its a quick do it yourself fix |

It'll only be cost effective if you're DIY. Otherwise, like stated in this thread, it's much better to get a new TV. |
